Our Story
Founded from Our Forefathers
Vendture Foods' history spans multiple generations back to the early 1900s. Our founder, Kayin Kelly's great, great grandfather Max, was an ice block vendor in Brooklyn, New York.
Before the time of cooling compressors and refrigerators people used to store their food using large blocks of ice in sealed containers. Max would pick up the ice from his distributors and use his horse-drawn carriage to deliver the preservation tool to as many families as he could.
Fast-forward to the 21st century and the vending service business is alive and well. Kayin and the Vendture Foods team continue Max's legacy by delivering snacks, food, and drinks for affordable prices in Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, Milton, Guelph, Hamilton, Georgetown, Burlington, Mississauga, and Toronto.
